Raymond Lyons

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Raymond Lyons is the third oldest of six children. He graduated high school in 1987 and went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps from 1987 to 1997, completing ten years of honorable service as a veteran.

Raymond is the proud father of three children — a son aged 22, a daughter aged 20, and a daughter aged 16. He currently works for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs as a Senior IT Specialist, bringing the same discipline and dedication from his military service to his professional career.

Raymond was raised as a Master Mason in July 2017 in Benjamin Lodge No. 138. He graduated from Prince Hall University, Class of 2019–2020, and is a Sublime Prince with Martin L. King Jr. Consistory Lodge No. 86, holding the 32° Degree. He is also a Companion with Bethel Chapter No. 39 and a Noble with Amen Ra Temple No. 158.

Raymond is a member of the National Phylaxis Society — Prince Hall Freemasonry, reflecting his commitment to Masonic education and the advancement of the craft.

In his leisure time, Raymond enjoys bike riding, bowling, and both saltwater and freshwater fishing.
